Notes in Outlook

I have Microsoft Office 2003, and I would like to keep my notes in Outlook on
the Desktop after I close the Outlook application. Currently, the notes that
I have made close when I close Outlook.

Notes disappear because they are items displayed by the application of
Outlook. If Outlook isn't running then you don't get to see those
notes. Nothing new in behavior there as no application can do anything
when it isn't running.

Google for PostIt Notes [Lite] if you want sticky notes to stay on your
desktop. But be aware that you'll have to leave that application
running, too.
