Outlook 2007
OneNote 2007
Exchange Server 2003
I’ve been playing with OneNote for the past week or so. I don’t know if the
timing of my Outlook issues are coincidental or related to using OneNote.
Following my company policy (against the advice of Microsoft) I keep my PSTs
on a shared network. I’ve had problems in the last week with my PST files
becoming corrupt, repeatedly repairing them and then corrupting again. All
my PSTs are 100MB or smaller.
When my PSTs “go bad†I receive this error:
“Cannot display the folder. The file <filename> cannot be accessed because
another workstation has modified it. Close and then restart all mail-enabled
applications. You might need to restart your computer.â€
I’ve been keeping OneNote open since I add a lot of Outlook tasks to my
OneNote report.
Could this be OneNote related?
Thanks.
Footnote: I’ve already created new Outlook profiles, PST files, and had my
computer reimaged.
