Oracle Connection

I can connect Infopath to my Oracle database, select a table and then I get
an error stating I can only connect to a SQL or Access database.

But it allowed me to connect to Oracle and select the tables. The
connection is there.

Any ideas why Microsoft stopped short on this?

Has anyone connected Infopath to an Oracle database?

We are a very large enterprise who would very much like to utilize Infopath
to create dynamic forms alongside our MOSS implementation. We are stunned
there seems to be no support for an Oracle database.

Any ideas on when Microsoft is pursuing a connection to Oracle?

Clay,

QDABRA requires SQL server, even if you intend on using it for Oracle. Do you any Database Accelerators or something similar that allows you to connect to Oracle w/o SQL Server?

I have used Qdabra with SQL and then used DTS or SIS integration between SQL
and Oracle.

Otherwise you need web services which connect directly to Oracle.

I know Qdabra has plans to add compatibility to other databases besides MS
SQL in the future but this is not in the current release.

Sorry.
