Outlook 2003 autocomplete seems to be resetting each day

Outlook 2003 autocomplete seems to be resetting each day - the names of
people who were emailed yesterday don't come up in the autocomplete list -
all the right check boxes are marked and people who've been emailed today DO
come up in the list - any ideas gratefully received
