Microsoft Outlook 2003 hangs for sometime when a connection to the exchange
server could not be established. The time out for the exchange server is
pretty long and makes Outlook unusable for that time. The operation for
contacting Exchange Server and retrieving mails should be asynchronous and
should not affect the normal user operations.
