outlook 2003 replies to my emails do not contain senders message t

Lost in microsoft

When I get replies to emails that I have sent some are missing the repliers
message.
Copies of the emails appear in hotmail and they do contain the repliers
message.
This does not happen with all messages just some of them.

any ideas welcome
