outlook 2003 will not open attachments

I just upgraded to windows vista but I cannot open attachments from my emails
in outlook without saving them. How do I fix this. I do not want to sace
every attachment to look at it.

Is this all attachments or just certain types? Are these forwarded emails or
are these attachments that you get alot of?

If these are forwarded email messages, this is behaviour consistent with
Google Desktop Search. Either remove the integration with Outlook, upgrade
it, or uninstall it.

If these are attachments that you get alot of (pdf files, word files, etc.),
then it could be your temp folder is full. Try the method(s) listed here:
