Comapny is testing Outlook 2003 with Office 2000 Pro. as the Office
application.
In the past I created a folder off the root of C:\ and with O2K I could just
drag a highlighted e-mail into the folder or highlight and do a Copy and then
on the desktop folder Paste. Never had a problem, but now I am getting an
error message at certain times. It is not consistant and sometimes I can
close the open folder and re-open it and it will work. Other times I have
been able to close O2K3 and reopen it and things would work. Even log off and
back on the network and then it would work, but not always for any of the
above.
The message is "Error Copying File or Folder" heading and "Not enough
storage is available to process this command." [OK] is the only option to
close the message. The best I can determins from the MS help file is that if
a note contains the max. number of characters that Outlook allows,
approximately 30,000 this problem will occur.
I know I have plenty of resources and the messages are not even close to 30K
characters.
I have a lot of subfolders in the desktop C:\ folder, but the level I am
saving to does not seem to be an issue either way.
I know I can re-create all of the folders in Outlook under the Stored E-Mail
feature, and then drag the desktop files into them, but I never could figure
out how to drag the folders themselves into Stored E-Mail. I also have a
fear that if user profiles on the machine get corrupted that I will lose
data, that is why I am using the root of C: for the folder location. I use
regular CD-RW backups so if the HDD crashes all is not lost.

Hope someone can help me...
