OK hopefully someone can help me here or at least tell me that 100%
for sure it isnt fixable..

I restarted my computer the other day and when it came up my .pst file
showed up as 0kb.... I know this is hard to fix or even not possible
but maybe one of the experts out there can post a possible solution to
recovering just one of the folders with the emails in it.....

Thanks for your help in advance..... this is important... i do have
a backup but there are a few recent emails i need to recover if its at
all possible.

If the pst-file shows up as 0kb then there is nothing you can do from an
Outlook perspective. You could consider disk recovery tools and see what
they come up with.

and how did you discover that? I have NEVER in 15 years heard of Chkdsk or
ScnDsk doing that to a data file....

Chkdsk doesn't "delete" things AFAIK, and BTW you can't have both as one is
W9x and the other (chkdsk) is NT....
have you done a search for other pst files?

Chkdsk does not delete data files
Run a search to include hidden for *.pst
