Outlook 2010 Beta won't close

Anyone find a solution to this problem? I'm evaluating the Outlook 2010 Beta
(64 bit edition on 64 bit Windows 7) and have found that any time I close
Outlook, I get the "Outlook is closing" icon and it just stays there. If I
try to start Outlook again, I get nothing. The only way to get Outlook to
start again is to kill the existing OUTLOOK.EXE process manually. I've tried
starting in safe mode and get the same behavior. I've also tried
reinstalling. Anyone see the same thing and hopefully find a fix?

Uninstall the A-V and then reinstall the A-V without the add-in. Merely
disabling it doesn't remove the part that's blocking Outlooks shutdown.

I had the exact same issue with McAfee 8.7 A/V - uninstalled and installed
MSFT security essentials as suggested and all works as it should.

Thanks Bob I!
