Outlook 2010 Shared Calendars ... I Do Not Want "SEND" ... I NEED "Save & Close"

Managing shared calendars (using Exchange server) DESPERATELY NEEDS a
modification. With cached mode enabled, when an entry is made in a shared
calendar, the only option is "to send". We NEED to have the option, as in
Outlook 2007, to simply SAVE & CLOSE. Right now I have disabled cached
mode, and can use SAVE & CLOSE. Any better ideas? Hey, Microsoft, give
    us a fix!
