outlook emoticons

i want to add emoticons etc to one of my outlook accounts, in the past i have
always associated these with adware/malware etc, a friend has told me that
she has got hers from www.hotbars. com (i think) internet explorer 7 labels
this site as a bad site. can anyone tell me if it is safe to use downloads
from this site? or could you please tell me where i could obtain emoticons
etc safely?

Hotbar is spyware. Safest way is to use Insert-> Picture... and use icons of
your own.

Correction - Hotbar is crapware and completely hoses any system on which it is installed.
