Outlook freezes when I open it. Won't allow new emails

Every time I open outlook, it freezes up. I can't open any emails and no new
emails are delivered. It seems to be related to the most recent email,
because it highlighted, and it seems to be what outlook is trying to opem.
Help!!!!1
