I'm using outlook 2003 with the latest service packs installed. I have a pop
account set up with an ISP. I have mozilla thunderbird pointing to the same
account. Very frequently (several times per week) I get a failure connecting
to the pop server via outlook. At that point, I immediately open up
thunderbird and it "consistently" connects without any problem and gets all
my messages. My ISP doesn't see a problem and suggests that it's a client
issue. Has anyone else seen this problem and tried something in the outlook
settings that might fix it?
