Hi..

does anyone know if there is a pre-configured set of rules available to
download which will filter known spam servers, keywords etc so I can just
import it rather than create my own rules?

Thanks..

No. You will have to define your own rules. Many folks have their
own rules that they have built up over time to accomplish spam
filtering. Other than for spam that is extremely simply to filter on,
rules won't work against spam. Microsoft tried adding a Bayesian
filter into OL2003+ (You never bothered to mention WHICH version you
use). It helps but there are better or additional spam filters that
you could use. SpamPal is free. If you look into commercialware,
like Mailwasher, be sure not to get lureware (the freebie version of
Mailwasher is so overly crippled that it is worthless). Obviously you
should already have the server-side spam filter enabled on your e-mail
account.

you can use some boxes such as SSG 140 or Blue Coat and bundle some softwares
in it for blocking spamware/adwares etc.Still you need to manually configure
which sites are accessible or not.
