page layout

I am a new user of Publisher 2003. How can I "see" my page margins on the
screen when doing a print layout on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper size? I have to keep
going into Print Preview to see if I'm "bleeding" into the next page.

You shouldn't bleed onto the next page, merely into the unprintable region
of the current page.

If you create a rectangle on your master page and resize and position it to
the location of your margins
(http://www.publishermvps.com/General/Tutorials/DiagonalvsHorizontalVertical/tabid/75/Default.aspx
shows you how to find this out)

Thanks, Ed--I'll start drawing rectangles. When I do a web publication (electronic newsletter)--even though the publication is technically one long page, when you look at it in Print Preview, you can see where the individual page breaks will occur--headings or text will break and spill over into the top of the next page if not adjusted.
