pdf jpg is fuzzy

Please help.
I am trying to convert documents with jpg logos in to pdf but the logos keep
coming out fuzzy. I have tried everything i can think of increasing the
resolution etc. Does the jpg have to be a certain resolution to start with?
Should i change the jpg to another format?
Any suggestions please. I have been using pdf995, and i also tried cute
pdf. Can anyone can recomend a free program? It also happens with word too.

It probably isn't the PDF but the image itself. Where did the logo originate?

You can try www.primopdf.com. It is free.

Send the logo to me and I will use Acrobat to see if it is a PDF issue or an
image problem.

Hi, i have the original logo.
Does the original picture have to be a certain resolution to start with?
When i enlarge the pdf the logo becomes less fuzzy. I have used the same
logo in word documents and converted them to pdf and they are fine.
