Hi
At work I've inherited maintenance responsibilities for a spreadsheet
template which pulls data from an external data source into 13
different Pivot tables. The template relates to only one customer -
and so the file is "saved as" under different names for each of the
220 or so customers (e.g. there will be 220 different copies of this
file).
The SQL for each of the 13 pivot tables is editted in each copy of the
file - with specific customer details.
I have editted the SQL in order to improve it. I find that sometimes
when I save the template file, the SQL isn't always saved and has to
be copied into Microsoft Query and then executed, whilst other times
the SQL saves fine - to the best of my knowledge, I'm not aware of
having changed any options in between making the changes.
Any ideas how the SQL can be saved and just the customer account
editted each time, rather than having to copy and paste it in?
Thanks
