I am having trouble with a particular form that gives me the 'Search key not
found" error when I click a button that runs an update query in vba code.
After I click OK to close the error message Box, my form is now unusable. No
matter what pulldowns or buttons I click on my form I get the same error. I
can't close the form so I end up having to ctl alt delete, because the form
is a Pop up modal form.
It doesn't happen all the time, only intermittently. So I am assuming that
my code is OK, because it normally works the way it is supposed to. Can it
be a network problem?
I have a split database with no Security setup with FrontEnds on client PCs
running Access2003 and the BackEnd on the network running Windows 2000.
Datbase was created using Access2000
I have searched the internet & found the following link on the Microsoft's
web site.

When you try to save design changes to a new object, or when you compact
a database, you receive the following error message:"....
This does not seem to pertain to my situation.
My network person tells me that there is no problem with the network
hardware so it must be a SW problem.
Can anyone offer any advice.
Thank You
