Here is what I am sure will be the first of many questions. I manage large
projects and need to reign in a slew of different documents. I think Project
is the logical software for this. DISCLAIMER:NOT A PROGRAMMER. I think
Macro linked buttons on the toolbar would be the best place for
creating/opening docs. Where is a good place to start. Too much garbage on
the net to dig through...
What I would like is a macro that initially populates a project folder with
all of the basic forms that I use and then allows me to create specific
instances of each form throughout the project. We are talking 2-3 years of
work in upwards of 200-300 different documents.
Many of the files are in non MS format (microstation drawing files, success
estimator, etc.)
Also would like some info on autofilling webforms. The application for
project scope agreements is an online form that is clunky. I would rather
build the PSA in another user form (especially since I am not always hooked
to the net while engineering in the field) and then use a macro to access the
website and populate the "official" form.
Any suggestions on the best place to start?
