Prorating overhead cost

How do i add a prorated fixed overhead cost to the total cost of my project
in MS Project with the intention that I can track the total cost (all costs)
and prorated fixed overhead cost at a particular time.

Hello Lian,
In Project Pro, I would use an Enterprise Project Cost field such as
EnterpriseProjectCost1 (Tools / Customize / Enterprise fields...)
Then the following macro could fill in this field when you want.
Hope this helps,

Gérard Ducouret

Sub FixedOverhead()
Dim TotCost As Double, Coeff As Single
TotCost = ActiveProject.ProjectSummaryTask.Cost
Coeff = CSng(InputBox("What is the coefficient of Overheads", "Fixed
Overhead cost", 10))
ActiveProject.ProjectSummaryTask.EnterpriseProjectCost1 = TotCost * Coeff /
100
End Sub

Hey Gerard
Thank you. I am not familiar with using Marco and I guess I need learn it
for the flexibility it provides.
