Pub2003 duplex printing

Here's my settings...and they're not working...

Using Publisher 2003 sp3, printing a 4 page booklet on a Savin C2824 with
duplexer.
File > Page Setup > Layout > Booklet is selected, Landscape, 5.5" x 8.5"
File > Print > Properties > Duplex setting is selected. Bypass tray is not
selected.

This setup works for other software, such as printing pdf's, Word doc's,
Excel doc's, etc.

When printing from Publisher, however, pages 1,4 and 2,3 print on separate
sheets, instead of on both sides of a single sheet of 8.5" x 11". I know I
could get off my behind and simply copy the two sheets together on the
printer to get the desired duplex effect, but the whole purpose of purchasing
a printer/copier with a duplexer was to increase efficiency. Any suggestions?

Yes. The RPCS driver I use presently is the one recommended for my
system(s), but...

Buried down deep in the hundreds of pages of documentation, I found that if
the output tray is set to the external tray, one cannot duplex. Only the
standard output tray works. Perhaps when I remembered sending other Office
documents to be successfully printed and duplexed, I was thinking of our
previous copier/printer, since this setting should have prevented duplex
printing of ANY kind.

Setting changed...print job successful.

Mary gets my vote for "Employee of the Week." Thanks!
