Publisher 2003 print error msg

Hoping to find a fix to this problem. I have one user who is having a
priting issue on one computer regarding Publisher 2003. These are on Windows
XP computers running Office Suite 2003 (Word, Excel, PP, Publisher). We use
roaming profiles. When this one user tries to print while in Publisher, as
soon as she clicks on the print option, she gets the following error msg,
"Unable to load print driver". All other Office products print fine. All
other users on this one computer can print fine using ALL Office products,
including Publisher. It is only happening on this one computer to this one
user. If the user goes to another computer and prints in Publisher, it works
fine. It's not like she's singling out any one printer because it gives her
this error message even before she has an opportunity to select a printer so
it's not like its print driver issue on one partucular printer because it
errors out even before she's able to select a printer. Any thoughts?

Your issue has been addressed before on this newsgroup.
This is the solution offered by a couple of posters, it seems to work.

"Cannot Load Printer Driver" A workaround.(This is for folks with Dell Printers
or might work with other printers as well) Posted by Phil.

Go to settings, printer folder, add an HP IIP printer, set it as the
default. When in Publisher,2003 Go to file and print and select the Dell printer.

This is actually a Lexmark printer, and the same problem exists for them as
well.

Same BROTHER problem. I can print to other printers but not Brother. I
contacted Brother and they were no help and blamed it all on Microsoft. I
TRICKED IT into working.

Hope this works for someone else: I went to (printers) and selected a new
default printer. I used an old one (Panasonic kxp-1624) Then I hit print
preview and it finally showed a preview. Then I minimized that screen and

went back to printer and defaulted back to Brother, then brought back up the
minimized preview screen from publisher and hit PRINT. It worked, and now it
seems to recognize Brother without going thru it each time. My Brother was an
mfc-240c.
