Publisher 2011 - How to change background color

Windows 7 / Publisher 2011

Is there a simple way to change the background color in a P2011 document? The 'Page Design', 'Backround' tab colors are limited and I see no way to add to them?

In general, I'm finding it quite difficult to find answers to simple questions? Is there a good tutorial out there? - Thanks for your help, IM
