Publisher printing black instead of two colored effect

I've made a page with 5 graphics on it, all with the same color effect in
yellow and orange. When printing, the smaller graphics prints as on the
screen, but the bigger one comes out black! When changing color to only one
solid it prints ok.

Please help, I'm going nuts!

Gradients?
Publisher will have problems with gradients and transparencies. Right-click the
large graphic, save as a picture, select .png, there are resolution choices.
Insert it back into Publisher.
Or copy, paste special as a .png.
