publisher version cross use

I have been sent a Publisher Document by Email ansd my Publisher is version
98, It says cant read a different version. I dont NEED to update, anyone know
a way round it please???

Send the file to me, I will convert it to 98 for you, you probably will lose some
formatting. Your sender can save as a 98 file...
