re-locating ost file

Hello,
I am interested in relocating the .ost file (offline data file) in
outlook. In the case of sensitive data stored on laptops I wish to
place the ost file in an encrypted volume. First I'll test it out on
non-critical data to see how it behaves. But I don't know how to move
it. The option is greyed out in the mailbox properties.

cheers

Disable Cached Exchange mode, then stop and restart Outlook. You should be
able to specify the OST location after that.

I tried that... closed outlook -> control panel/mail/email
accounts/change account/uncheck cached exchange mode. re-started
outlook. tried to change file location but its still greyed out.

Okay, I disabled the cached exchange and then purposely had to stop
(delete?) the offline cache. Then i could change folder.
