Received email going directly into deleted items folder

My email goes directly into the deleted items folder....How do I get it to
stay in in box folder. I do see a flicker in the inbox and then the email
goes into the deleted items

Check your rules. One of them is sending mail to your Deleted Items folder.

Ask once. Wait for an answer.

In addition to SgtRich's advice, you may find that creating a new mail
profile fixes the problem.

so i have to check each rule and in one of those rules a rule is written
causing mail from senders to go into the deleted folder ?
i do have some email that goes into my inbox
