Recovering lost emails

MSL

I'm sure this has been asked, and answered before, but
My PC crashed and after alot of messing around i decided to install a new
harddrive and new windows/office installation.

I still have the old harddrive and can access all the folders.

I hadn't archived or exported the pst's for a few months and although I've
got all my old contacts and emails I am missing the last three months worth

Is there any way I can find my inbox on the old harddrive and transfer
emails into a new install of outlook ?

Grateful for any help

Thanks

Scott

Enable searching hidden files and then open the .pst file that you find that
has the most recent date. Archive files are not hidden, only the default
one in use in your active profile.

Do NOT import it.

Sure. Do a search of the old drive for *.pst, or mailbox.pst, or outlook.pst. Find your last one by date, create a mail folder under your name in documents and settings, and copy the files there. (Outlook files may be stored in \documents and settings\your name\local settings\microsoft\outlook).
Go to the control panel, select mail, go to add new personal folders, select the path, and file name of the *.pst you want to use, and it will now show up on the outlook bar.
