Recovery

I am working on an old employees computer. I
accidentially deleted his Outlook data file (.pst) so now
all his e-mails, contacts and everything is gone. Is
there a way to recover this information? Thanks

If the file is gone; it's gone. Check the Recycle Bin and otherwise restore
from backup.

there is programs available that can even restore files that have been wiped
from the recylce bin. That is not a topic for this forum, have a look at
download sites to find such. Be quick though because every new file that is
put in hard disk, may have overwritten the deleted one.

Pst-files have the name not being very tolerant for this unless the tool was
installed before hand (like the UnErase from Norton) which basically behaves
like a second Recycle Bin.

The program "Recover My Files" will recover deleted PST files that have been
emptied from the Recycle Bin. It can be downloaded from
www.recovermyfiles.com. Run a "Complete Search" and search specifically for
PST files.

Good Luck
