I have to schedule a crew of 10 men to work for ten days then off for four
days, a repeating schedule. How do I set this up correctly??

In the resource Sheet, select this resource, then:
Tools / Change Working Time...
Select the column (M for Monday etc.) and set each colum as working or non
working

Hi Gerard and all,

First, this way doesn't work in 2007 any more: it's become much more
elaborate.
But regardless, it doesn't help our poster who wants 4 days per fortnight,
so only half of the Sundays(f.i.) will be nonworking.

Supposing the 4 nonworking days are Th, Fr, Sa and Su, this is how you do it
in 2007:
Tools, Change working time
Select the resource from the calendars dropdown
Add a line to the exception list
Click Details
HIn the details form
Click nonworking time
Select the nonworking days
Select recur every 2 weeks
Be sure the span between Start and Finish is sufficient.

Hope this helps,
