Resource Leveling Multiple Resources on one task

Hi I have an issue I have found with MS project. Im not sure if its me or the software.

I have the following scenario.

Calendar set to a standard 24 hrs. The tasks can be completed in order. This will be decided once on site. For this reason I havent set any predecessor / successor relationships. There are two areas where the resources will be working lets call them Area1 & Area2..

Resources
Elec - Max 6
Area1 - Max 1
Area2 - Max 1

when I Level Resources Im expecting to see the area 1 tasks in parallel with area 2 but it doesnt seem to work. anyone else had similar issues please?
