Resource Names for External Predecessors / Successors

When an External Predecessor/Successor task is displayed
(in grey) on the Gantt view, the Resource Names column
always has blanks - even when a resource has been assigned
in the external plan.

Anyone know how to display Resource Names for external
linked tasks?

Dave,

there isn't very much information from the original task
transported to the file where it is an external task.
Resource date are not, so are text fields etc. I think the
only way to get information on resources for externel
tasks is to add the resouce name to the task name. Then
you know at least the resouce but it would not add to the
total work.

If you are used to write VBA for MSP then adding the
resouce name to the task name isn't a problem at all, just
you have to flag out your output tasks in order not to add
the resource name to all your tasks.
