Resource Pool changes actual hours in 2010

I have a project in MS Project 2010. After I attach it to a resource pool I noticed the actual hours previously applied to the plan changed in certain weeks but only for certain resources. I'm getting numbers like .07 hours per week for 10 or 11 weeks in a row where there were previously zero with a .75 in the final week. Any idea what causes this? The total actual hours for the project seem to be correct but the weekly totals are now off.
