Resource Pool in stand-along MS Project 2003

I’m working with a small company trying to help one of their departments
implement some best management practices. I’m trying to stay away from a full
blown EPM implementation and I’m trying to create a “pseudo enterprise poolâ€.
I want to do the following:

· Assign tasks to Resource 1 in Plan A

· Assign tasks to Resource 1 in Plan B

· Import Plans A and B into Plan C – I’d like the Resource Usage
view to only show one Resource 1, with the tasks assigned to him in Plan A
and Plan B.

Any ideas?

Take a look at "resource sharing" fully described in Help.

Also, when you say "import", do you mean using master projects and
subprojects (which are "inserted" as a link, not "imported", e.g. a
separate copy).

You don't need enterprise for this sort of thing.

Rob, thanks for the quick reply. The Resource Sharing feature, aka Resource
Pool, is exactly what we needed. I've tried this out and it works perfectly.
Thanks for the help.
