Why is a wonderful question. The management answer would be that we are
moving to a document management system and we want all correspondance saved
there rather than outlook.

Haha, yeah, that happens. But a DMS doesn't mean that you should drop all
other organizing techniques. I reckon that they want a DMS to also increase
productivity? Not having your mail sorted correctly doesn't exactly help
with that. Perhaps you should give them that as an answer ;-)
