Revised Resource Pools - Project 2007

Hello

I'm another newbie to the forum, having completed a UK based Microsoft
Introduction and Intermediate Training Course for Project 2007 a couple of
months ago.

I'm currently running, a Master File with 8 Projects - all running
sucessfully, but wish to revise the Resource Pool. I've put together a
Revised Resource Pool10 and would like to reassign to my existing Projects.

The Resource sharing Links show the connection to a previous Resource Pool2,
even after I try to disconnect the Link.

In desperation I've completely deleted my previous Resource Pool2 - trying
to connect to my new Resource Pool10.
Unfortunitely the Share Resources options still list the deleted files, with
no Reference or Option to link to my new Resource Pool10.
Ultimately, I wish to print out reports from my Master File, giving the
Total Resource Hrs covering all Projects.

In a quandery - What do I do from here ????

No doubt this a no brainer to those well versed with Project.

David,

Because the shared resources still exists in the Sub - projects they
will continue to display until you have deleted all the resources from
all plans.

Although I was sure there was an easier answer to changing resources

However yesterday I found the solution to the problem

Ensure the new Resource Pool in Open - then open the individual Project file.
A Window then appears, cant find Original Resource Pool - do you wish to
disconnect link ?? Click - Yes

Enter Project File, go to Tools - Share Resources - then the new Resource
Link is now availible in the drop down Menu - Click the Resource and Ok

This should now complete the new link to the Amended Resource File

It works for me
