row height

Rick

I have text boxes attached to the timescale and I have
custom data displaying on top and bottom of task bars. The
row height has adjusted accordingly but I cannot retain
the original row height even after I remove the data from
the task bars.

Any ideas?

Hi Rick,
How did you remove the data from the task bars ?
- If you erase the content of the column, Project still manage the place above or under the task
bar, even if the field is empty.
- Go to Format / Bar styles... and there, for bleu and red bars, remove the texte above or under.
You must get back to the original row height.
Hope this help,

Hi Rick,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You can adjust row heights by hovering the mouse cursor between rows in the
ID column until you get an up/down arrow, whence click and drag.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://www.mvps.org/project/

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on:)

Thank for the reply. Yes I have done this but the rows
never change back to the original default height.

I've done that, too, but the rows just dont want to move!

I've even gone into Format, Bar Styles and tried to adjust
in the Row column there. The row is set to 1 even though
it doesnt look like it on the screen. I've gone in and
tried to edit the table (Entry table) and the row height
is set to 1 as well.
ALso, the bar hieght does not auto adjust with the row
height. I am using PXP.
