Save to ASCII or Plain Text w/ Office '07

Instructions for doing this that I've read so far don't seem to apply to
Office '07. There is no .txt* (nor ASCII) option in the drop-down menu. I
went to tools in Word Save options and selected this option but it didn't
take. I have yet to see an ASCII option anywhere which is really what I'm
trying to save to. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

Plain text (.txt) is one of the "save as" options in my installation of
Word 2007, so I don't see why it wouldn't be in yours. But if you can't
find it, then maybe you can copy and paste into Wordpad or Notepad
(which come with Windows) and save as .txt from there.
