With recently updating to Windows7, I find that my saved files are i
the order in which created. How do I change them to alphabetical order
I have seen replies that say "Switch to Details", but I can't fin
anything that says "Details". I've tried right clicking anywhere an
everywhere with no results. Can anyone provide a working answer? Than
you

This isn't a question about MSWord.

Open (double-click on) a folder.

Near the upper right, below the window where the folder's url appears, are
three icons. The right-hand one is the Help button. Next to the left one
is a down-arrow. Click that arrow and you get a number of ways of showing
the files in that folder. Choose "Details."

When your files are displayed in the window by name, you can click on the
header of any of the columns to order them by Name, Date, Size, etc. Click
the same header again and they go in the opposite order -- Z to A, or oldest
to newest, etc.

Whichever order you choose in Details carries over to the other views
of that folder.
