Hi,
I wrote a schedule in MS project and allocated resources to it.
I then levelled it by
1. looking in the resource sheet for overallocated resources
2. using the resource graph to see where they are over-allocated
3. using the GANTT chart filtered by the resource to identify what the
multiple tasks the resource is allocated to are, and manually addressing it.
I find this effective (I think through the clashes and make the choices I
want) but tedious.
Other than the auto-levelling, are there other more effective approaches to
resource levelling in MS project?
Ideally, I'd like view that tells me what tasks a given resource at a given
point in time is allocated to, but MS Project does not seem to have that.
Does it?
Thx,
Lauchlan M
