Send (create) date and Received dates backward in Outlook 2003

Well, there have been many questions about dates. After looking carefully, I
discovered that Outlook 2003 has the Received and Created (sent) date
backwards. Outlook 2000 (which I just upgraded from yesterday) has them
correct. Somehow, Outlook 2003 is taking the date from emails and calling
that the Received date. This is incorrect! The received date should be the
time the email is received. The create date is the date inside the email. As
I said, this worked correcly in Outlook 2000.

Any Microsoft people on this forum who can help? Is this a real bug in
Outlook 2003 or is there some setting that I need to do to get the dates
right?

I think this might be why some people get an email and see the received date
as earlier than their computer clock because Outlook is showing the create
(sent date) rather than the time the email is received.

Help???
