Sending error

I tried replying to a simple email, with no attachments or anything, yet it
kept giving me an error saying file too big to send. It was only text!!!

I then created a new message and it still gave me the same error.....why
can't I send message? I have not had a problem before....

Hard to say without any configurations details. My guess is that your
mailbox is over quota.

Ask your mail admin/ISP, or check the documentation regarding your mail
account.

Does that mean there is absolutely no setting with regards to the size of an
email limit in outlook at all??

Incidentally....the computer was restarted and it works fine now.....so why
would that be????

Correct.

Incidentally....the computer was restarted and it works fine
now.....so why would that be????

I can think of several, none of which involve Outlook at all.

Hey Brian....I would be interested in a few of the reasons why outlook would
have been affected like that and the computer needing a reboot.....even if it
isn't an outlook issue, if you have some reasons, would be interested to know
anyway.

Thanks

I would refer to my first reply to you or we would be playing an endless
guessing game.

Most common cause are virus scanners that integrate with Outlook. Disabling
the integration will solve many issues. Look around in this newsgroup and
you'll see.
