Sharpen Images

I have a problem with Publisher 2003. It seems that whenever I import an
image from a file and then try to resize it, it becomes very blurry. How do
I sharpen these images or make them larger and remain clear? PLEASE HELP!!

Have you checked View > Pictures > Detailed Display?

Yes, I just checked and it is on detailed display. I don't understand why I
can't increase the size of a photo without it staying clear and sharp?

A photo only contains so much information. A certain number of pixels
(little squares). At the original size on your screen, it will appear fine,
as the pixels are the same size as the pixels on your screen or smaller.
However, as you resize the image, the pixels will get larger than the pixels
on your screen, so you will begin to see the effects of pixellation - i.e.
you can see the pixels, as they are no longer too small for the eye to
resolve.
