slack in Project

TO IMPROVE RESOURCE LEVELLING, IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO
BE ABLE TO BUILD IN SLACK IN SOME ACTIVITIES.

CAN SOMEONE COMMENT ON THIS, AND LET ME KNOW HOW TO DO
IT, IE. TO SCHEDULE FLOAT OR FREE SLACK IN THE PROGRAM.

Hi Des,

Project calculates slack, so youcannot directly set it
You can influence the calculations (although that sounds to me like you want
to fool Project):
When you have a string of activities you can increase total slack by forcing
a later end on the final task of the string
When you want to increase free slack on an activity you canforce a later
start on its sucessor (s)

Not that these are elegant ways to schedule but it answers your question.
