Strange Outlook 2003 behavior with messages and attachments

I connect to IMAP server (MDaemon) using Outlook 2003 and I have two
very strange issues which I did not have when I used to have Outlook
XP.

1. When messages are downloaded, Outlook shows a single message more
than once giving the impression that same message was sent more than
once. After a while (in about 5 minutes), Outlook correct it and shows
only one message.

2. A single attachment with the email message is shown multiple times
(upto 10 times) in the preview pane as well as in message pane, giving
the impression that same file was attached multiple times with the
message. Even though Outlook has single attachment as reflected by the
email size.

Any ideas and thoughts would be appreciated. I have installed Office
2003 SP1 as well as al the hot fixes.

All I can say is that I have the same issue as your first one and don't have
a solution as yet. If you want to experiment to see if this is a result SP1
then it is up to you. It will involve uninstalling and reinstalling Office
2003.
Post back if you give it a go.
