Summary Task Linking - demo of Circular refs

We have a template with Summary tasks linked. It has been causing issues
with circular references but I am looking for a way of demonstrating how a
plan with linked summary tasks can cause this behaviour. Can anyone give me
an example of how I can set a simple plan up with summary tasks linked and
how I can then delete some tasks which then causes the circular reference
with teh root cause having been the summary task linking.

I sounds like you already have an great example - your own files! Does
somebody you work for need further convincing?

Nonetheless, a quick method for creating circular relationships due to
links on summary tasks was given by fellow MVP, Jan DeMessemaeker in a
reply to a post in this newsgroup early last year. Search this newsgroup
for a post by scott_hanebutt on Jan 6,2006, subject: Circular
