Tab Index

Daniel

Hello,

I'm faced with a weird problem that I have never seen before and was hoping
someone could enlighten me as to the fix. I am trying to set the Tab Index
in a form (access 2000). The form/page contains 15 controls. I am simply
trying set them sequentially. 0.1.2.3.4... not a complicated thing
(normally). However, I can't get the values to stick. I will enter a value
move on and come back and it has been changed? I will enter a value goto
another property and the value changes in front of me?

Anyone have any ideas what the heck is going on?

Thank you,

Daniel P

If you are using Vista, you may need further permissions as an admin to make
changes to files. If not, the file may be corrupt. Try importing everything
into a new empty database and see if that helps.

I'm using Win2000 & Off2000. I will try out your suggestion.

What would have corrupted the db? It is a new db being developed with no
one else ever having access to it. I have compacted and repaired frequently
as I make changes. Is it a user (me) issue that i need to become aware of or
simply problems that arise from time to time?

Thank you,

In design view, just use View>TabOrder. The dialog allows you to drag & drop
controls in the order you want.

I know this doesn't really answer your question.
