Tasks in Outlook Today

When I add a task, it appears in Outlook Today from the time I enter it, even
if it's in the future. Is there a way to list only those tasks that are
current (in the range of start date and end date?)

If you click the "Customize" link at the top, you can only toggle between
showing all Tasks or today's Tasks.
