Text is not visible on the report

Unless I make the TextBox about half the width of the report it trims the
end of each row

Why?

Did you set the control's CanGrow property to Yes?
And also the report section the control is in CanGrow to Yes?

Are the page margins set too narrow on the File->Page Setup dialog?
is the "column width same as detail section" unchecked?
